We have a Community Links Worker (CLW) and a Welfare Advice Health Partnership (WAHP) worker based in the practice who can help support people in many ways. The CLW worker can help with a variety of social, mental health and practical issues, with the WAHP worker focussing on financial issues, helping with any money worries you may have.
The support on offer ranges from help with benefits, housing, bereavement, anxiety and low mood to helping you join activities in your community or complete a form for a free bus pass.
Although they aren’t part of the NHS, Robyn (CLW) and Joanne (WAHP) work closely with our GPs and practice staff. They have experience of working in a range of areas including social care, charities, community work, drug and alcohol support, housing and money advice.
Robyn is based here all day Monday and Tuesday, and also Wednesday mornings and Joanne is here on a Monday morning. You can ask your GP to refer you or any of the reception staff.
